Add a CommentSo far, this is my favorite of Stewart O'Nan's books, and I've read almost all of them. He gets in the mind of his characters making them memorable and the story hard to put down. His characters are all believable, of all ages and genders and each have a point of view he goes back to as he tells their story. He lets the reader get to know them well, flaws and all, and care about them and what happens to them.
Exquisite character study of 8 family members who vacation together one last time at their lakefront summer cottage. A good fit for fans of Richard Russo and Anne Tyler.
