Pretty light but overall enjoyable read. Hope's Crossing seemed almost too good to be true. (and it's fiction, so many it's wistful thinking...)

There were times that I could not put this book down because it was getting intriguing and I became empathetic of the characters. But then nothing would happen because the characters kept falling back on their same old excuses. Overall, this book was readable, and I'll look for more of Thayne's books.
