This book was more about his career and music than about himself. I couldn't finish reading it.

I feel for the poor Dalton guy who had to transpose the drug addled, ego driven, AD/HD rambling of Steven Tyler into some semblance of a book. I hope he made a lot of money as he earned it.
Tyler can't seem to keep a thought straight and it comes out in this book.
If you are a huge fan and want to know what it would be like to talk to him, read this. You won't want to do that anymore.

Yes, well, on a positive note, one can get through it quite quickly. What an ego! Wow. But, I guess, that is what rock and roll is about, now, isn't it?
Keith Richards' bio. was more coherent - go figure.

So very, very bad. Poorly written, difficult to understand, lots of rambling, and boring stories told again and again. I pretty much felt like crying towards the end I was so bored. I kind of feel like crying now just thinking about it.

Just too annoying for words! While I did not expect much....I thought, maybe, just maybe, he might have a flare for words. I was wrong. He is a puffed-up, self-important sexogenarian. Give it a pass....you'll want that time back in the end.

I don't know if I can finish it. The same old story over and over. Even his style gets tiersome after a few chapters. I skimed to the end to get the highlights. I think I'm done.

Trashy. Lots of sex and drug stories. Will likely change the station next time Aerosmith comes on.

Sex, drugs and rock & roll (over and over again ;-). It's a miracle he's still standing.
For fans only -- an ok R&R bio.
