Add a CommentA GREAT book about a Doctors journey dealing with the onset of AIDS living in a smalltown. A must read for anyone thinking of pursuing medicine or already doing so, as it fills in the stories of many patients we have the privilege of interacting with.
A very interesting personal-professional memoir about love, family, human connection, disease, passion, and courage. Full of grace and insight on the practice of medicine and the art of living, would recommend.
Great view of foreign MD's life in a small town during the beginning of AIDs, very moving story of his personal journey.
I really enjoyed this book.
