Depicts abusive behaviour and relationships as unproblematic and desirable. No trigger warnings. I wish I had not spent a minute of my time reading this.

Another “new adult” book that seems the same as the others I’ve read. Like “Impact of You,” this book didn’t have much visual descriptions, featured college students but didn’t have much talk of going to class or doing homework. The main…

One of my favorite romance novels. I love this story!

A very interesting read. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, and have reread it multiple times, however, the relationship between the two love interests is not a relationship I would classify as "relationship goals". A lot of people don't like…

I really enjoyed it! The story takes you through their struggling relationship and you won't want to miss a page. I'm currently reading the next book "Walking Disaster" which is Travis' POV, and I must say it's quite interesting!

This novel always makes me feel exhilarated and shows that love comes in many forms. Check out my review of "Beautiful Disaster" on my blog at: https://axarr.blogspot.com/2017/11/this-is-book-meant-for-adults-due-to.html

New York Times Bestseller????? I made it through two chapters and I can’t believe I punished myself for that long. Perhaps I put the book down to soon but I just couldn’t put up with the stupidity of the characters.

A complicated romance novel. When Abby Abernathy meets Travis Maddox, she never expects to fall in love with him, as he’s the complete opposite of her. However, after losing a bet, Abby moves in with Travis for a month. They gradually…

Some people say that is book is not that good. That the story goes from yes to no between Abby and Travis. However, I think this book is just wonderful! Beautiful Disaster is the only book that I can re-read more than once, and I never…

Wasn't what I expected. The book isdialogue driven, which I liked. But I didn't like the type of relationship between Travis and "Pidge". It seemed so unhealthy, and his possessive behaviour turned me off to him. When Pidge was given the…

I sat and read this book in less then a day. It was so addictive. I didn't want to stop. Kind of like these characters., I was hooked! The story itself was great, I found the writing to be a little bit off, but a great read none the less.…

A patron review from the Adult Summer Reading Game: "This was the first book in the series and it was hard to put down. You are introduced to the love story of Travis and Abby."

The first book in the Maddox brother series, followed by Walking Disaster which supposedly is this same story but told through Travis' point of view. "Hurts Sooo Good" type of story about Abby, a freshman student at Eastern with a dark…

The book is pretty decent but the relationship between Abby and Travis is sometimes confusing, repetitive and kind of unhealthy. Also Abby drinks a lot, contrary to the description.

This book glamorizes and romanticizes possessiveness, jealousy and violence. The guy literally trashes his apartment just because the girl left. Her friends call her CRYING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THEY'RE SO AFRAID. Travis beats other guys to a…

I enjoyed the story but it is not a portrayal of a healthy relationship. Thank goodness it's fictional.

Please, young women/teen girls, DO NOT read this book! This is not a book about romance! This is a book romanticizing a man with severe anger and jealousy issues who eventually enters into a manipulative, emotionally abusive relationship…

I loved it! It was so beautiful and exciting to see Travis and Abby fall in love. I couldn't put this book down! I now can't wait to read Walking Disaster, from Travis's perspective.
