Walk two moons was not my favorite. The ending really made me cry and the story wasn't the easiest to follow. That being said, for a story that makes me cry, it has to make me attached to the story. It was okay. (Until the ending.)

In Walk Two Moons, Sal walks in her mother’s moccasins with her gramps and her gram, while she looks above all of them. Sal can’t stop wondering why her mother left. One important thing I noticed was that Phoebe, one of Sal’s best friends,…

This is a beautiful book... it is meant for children but I think that anyone who has felt significant loss in their life would benefit from reading this story. Really remarkable.

One of the most touching stories I have ever read, dealing with what a lot of single parented kids deal with everyday. On the sadder side, but lighted by the humour and jokes, a book well worth my time.

I thought it was a great book, both original and well written. It is a bit on the sad side but is also dealing with a difficult subject. It has some great humour in it that keeps it upbeat. The tie in with nature and native culture…

Chock full of beauty, pain, love, sacrifice, understanding and misunderstanding, Walk Two Moons has as much to say to adult readers as it does to the YA audience to which it's targeted. This, in addition to the fact that one can never…
