A quiet, barely narrated wildlife documentary that shows how different species interact. And how they depend on eachother in their day to day life. Stunning visuals.

Excellent. Kept wondering how they captured the animals and birds in action. Special features will clue you in. Amazing .Worth watching a second time. Best wild life footage I've ever seen. . Bears and elk fighting.

Lovely! Beautiful! I appreciated the minimal commentary so that I could more fully soak in the natural beauty of the animals in their environment.

This is not a nature documentary. It's a revisioning of what nature could have looked like before humans settled Europe in particular. It was created by training animals over a two year period and filming them repeatedly over the course of…

This is some of the most amazing wildlife footage I've seen. Watch the bonus features to see how they got the cameras so close to the animals. The narration is not the focus of the film, it's all about the beauty of the footage.

So different from most nature docs. Human populations squeeze out all others, leaving solitary animals unable even to find a mate, Sad.

I love nature documentaries, but this one was lacking for me. I liked watching the animals, but it was painfully slow, and the narration is boring. I would look elsewhere for a good nature doc.

Perrin and Cluzaud are masters of nature cinema that focuses on the story from the viewpoint of the animal. Their technology is state-of-the-art. The result is a deeply calming film of nature that eliminates the huge distance from…

This is TERRIBLE. It is not a documentary; it is merely animals doing what they do. The little narration that there is, is in French - no other options! I assume because getting Alec Baldwin or Morgan Freeman to do a voice over would have…

Awesome movie. The animals are the actors. Great sequences of up close action, chase sequences. They put in a lot of work to get this vision of a history of wildlife in Europe right.

This is an unnatural and contrived nature film. It makes me feel like it is the 21st century version of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Its beautifully filmed, but did that squirrel really stick its head out of that tree because that…

This is not a film or documentary. It's a montage of videos of animals. Beautifully shot, but most of the scenes were contrived with trained animals. This is not the DVD to help you learn or understand animals or nature.
