I read book one of the Fifty Shades trilogy some years ago. (See review, Fifty Shades of Grey, July, 2016). I remember that it ended with the girl, Anastasia Steele, walking out on the asswipe of a boyfriend, Christian Grey, who also…

I was very curious about this book... I wanted to understand why he treated women that way.. I couldnt understand why if he had everything in life he still hated himself and felt like he didnt deserve to be loved... I enjoyed all the books…

*copied from my comments of Fifty Shades of Grey* Yeah. I read this book. The trilogy was definitely good for a summer read, but I have some problems with it, as a whole. First off, this series is very clearly a fanfic. There is nothing…

It did not get better, even with the aid of an editor.

What would you do if an attractive person has a dark past that makes you continue to try to save him? Check out my review of "Fifty Shades Darker" on my blog at:…

There are so many good books available, would not waste my time on this book. I found what I read really sick. I wonder if the author would recommend this for her children's reading.

Yes it was a fanfic of Twilight because all it added was bondage to the mix. Yes the writing is poor quality, but why read it if you going to hate on it, unless you like poorly written literature? I like the book because yes there are some…

Much better than the first. Not really my style of book, but I find the Grey books a guilty pleasure. I say guilty because it is not the same caliber as many books I have read, yet it is still a page turner.

we should never put up with novels that support rape

Loved the book, in fact the whole series. People have assumed it was a profane book. It is a love story about two people working through their own insecurities and finding love.

The plot is becoming even more amusing

I am fifty/fifty on this book. It drags and probably could have been 18 chapters vs 22. Ana is hard to relate to, boring actually. This might have been better from Christian Grey's perspective on top of Ana's. This series mirrors the…

So much better than the first book-there is more character development and I finally see Christian and Ana's relationship as more than a 'friends with benefits' kinda thing, albeit it being extreme sometimes. Its a pretty interesting read;…

The first was such a romance that I really didn't think I'd buy the second but toward the end of the first it became so addicting to see how their relationship continues-I immediately downloaded the second on my kindle to find out what…

Awful book - poorly written fan fiction from a not much better series (twilight). The writing technique is poor at best. The story line is a rip off of a tween romance novel. The "Oh My's" are so repetitive it hurts. This is…

A very simple story, as predictable as a Harlequin Romance, just a bit steamier. The steamier parts are a bit tedious after a while. I wouldn't recommend this book as a food read.

Much more acceptable for my tastes (and I have lived and tried lots in my many years- certainly not a prude) than the first book. I am hopeing the last one will be better. Using extreme pain to achieve sexual gratification is sad. It…

This book was bad, I felt that the sex scenes drowned out the story. I found myself skipping pages. I want more story. The first one was better. Looking froward to the third book, hoping she can bring the story back.

OK book, but found it dragged on a lot like the first one. Of course I will read book 3 because I want to know how series ends. A lot of hype for these books, I wasn't very impressed.
