A good tale of a rather far out premise-movement of large masses by minds and psych control of a society. When you can't figure out the science use a bit of fantasy. Would you really want a bunch of hormone driven teens with even close to that power-people who can't stop texting to drive-beyond scary.

Somewhat offbeat sci-fi story as telepaths used as today's Federal Express or UPS.

McCaffrey does a good job in many of her books of showing us the main character from childhood and on to adulthood. This is one of those. I loved the story of Rowan and the continuation of her story, and her children, in the rest of the series.
