For me, this is the best movie Louise was in. It's one of my favorite silent films, and probably one of the least dated.

Keeping in mind that this silent-era picture is now nearly 90 years old - It's actually surprising to see, in this day and age, that its story still manages to be fairly intriguing.

Starring an attractive, 23-year-old Louise Brooks as the "Lost Girl" - This German film tells a rather sordid tale about rape, unwanted pregnancy, and prostitution.

If you are a fan of film history (and willing to cut this film some slack) - Then - "Diary of a Lost Girl" is certainly worth a view.
