It must be awkward to make a selection from someone who has written so many excellent and sublime short stories, but the editor certainly did well. I was already familiar with most of the selections - it was only the last two I had not read previously - and from them are the two that I liked most: "The Progress Of Love" , and "Differently". The last two stories are so long that they are better classed as short novels, and they don't end as poignantly or neatly as the others.
