This is the first book I've read in quite a while that I couldn't put down. Well developed characters you quickly come to know and care about.
I actually cried through one of the chapters.
I like that we learn and grow with the characters as they realize things about themselves.

In this easy, enjoyable novel, a chid psychiatrist whose career has just been shattered by a scandal gets a desperate call to help her police chief sister on a very unusual case. The world Hannah creates in "Rain Valley", Washington reminds me of Alice Hoffman's small town New England with its elements of intrigue, romance and characters that keep you spellbound.

I liked this book. Had a good story and moved along keeping my interest throughout. Even had an unexpected twist at the end. Would recommend

The story of an innocent child abandoned, abused and left alone. This book warmed my heart as Alice begins to emerge from her broken life and heal not only herself, but Julia too.

Another win for Kristin Hannah!

This was a really great read....left me always wanting to turn the page to see what was going to happen next! This was my first book that I have read of Kristin Hannan's, and I am sure to read the rest that she has out!
