I agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer. I felt completely at sea while listening to this book on audio, yet I still enjoyed it. The story was by turns curious, revelatory and shocking, and ended in a way I could never have anticipated. I enjoy most McEwan, and this was no exception. Very bite size if you're looking for a quick read/listen!

Strange, odd, peculiar, unsettling yet intriguing novel. Written in such a manner as to keep the reader always wondering what was going on and where the plot was going -- but not in the traditional fashion of a mystery novel.
