This is unusual for a documentary in the American Masters series - it was just ok. The camera follows him around as he works on the show, but there is little insight, context or history telling us how he got there.

We really enjoyed this...it follows Mr. Keillor around while he does his shows & other endeavors...refreshing & homey...and in this era of negativity & plain meanness it is a wonderful reminder that the world consists of more than the media controlled views from NY & LA...there are a lot of great, funny, talented & interesting folks worth hearing from in Mid-America!!

This movie was entertaining and interesting but not one of my favorite for this year. Not too bad---good performance.
