Thanks for the heads up. Weary of politics bashing. I won't read this one.

Not really a good read. It was very American--guns, taxes, violence. The writing was understandable but terse with little embellishment. The cats didn't really come in to play when they should have. The characters are very wooden like cardboard cutouts.

Right away, I realized I've read this one before, but I didn't mind.

Very good, as this series is, but the author could have eliminated the environment preaching and the politics bashing. It would not have affected the story at all, and it would save the readers a lot of time.
