Superb book with wonderfully crafted sentences - that emphasize the duality of our human nature.

I picked this book off the shelf for two reasons: first, the relevant title, and second, I recognized the author's name in connection with a recent, reasonably well thought of film with Robert DeNiro. The Vonnegut-like graphics on the cover give it away; this installment of Nick Flynn's continuing autobiography is very much in the fragmented, time-jumping style of the Master, Kurt Vonnegut. As such, any number of interesting topics are touched on; it can be a litle hard to follow at times, but I found it no problem to read the whole book in one sitting. Some expletives, adult situations throughout.
