Much of his advice seems sound, but I have two complaints with this book: it needs a good editor and some of his advice is him weighing in on matters that are not a consensus of the medical community (without him being clear on what is a consensus and what is his best guess).

As for opinion, you pay your doctor for his opinion, but I like my doctors to tell me when things are well established and when researchers are still figuring it out.
