Two best friends Chloe and Finn, setup a fake abduction to be bold towards their future colleges. Chloe hides out in Finn's grandma's basement for 11 days while Finn handles catching the media's attention. This book is a good mystery. It should have ended differently, because I was a bit disappointed in the end. The plot of the story is interesting and it's surprising to see people's reactions and what the main character, Finn, goes through while she is hiding her best friend. It's cool to see how they thoroughly planned out everything and what dangers Finn has to go through to keep Chloe hidden and safe. If you love a mystery book then you should try and sit down with this one. 3/5 stars

The story was long and dragged on. The ending was terrible and not worth all the reading i DON'T recommend reading it. But this is just my opinion.

This was a very original story... the whole concept was really unique. It was one of those stories that was stressful to read in a good way. However, I found the ending left loose ends and I thought the book would have been more interesting if it were told from both Finn's and Chloe's perspectives instead of just Finn's.

This was an interesting story and really put me back into the teenage years. I honestly kept waiting for Chloe to actually get kidnapped, that really would have put a twist into the story!! But to no avail.

** spoiler alert **

This one of those books that you keep reading in order to figure out how your protagonist is going to get out of the hole, and they keep digging deeper.

Being told from Finn's point of view, we never know what Chloe's true intentions are. Did she set up Dean, or was that just coincidence? Was there more inside her family that led to this massive ruse? And did she always intend to leave Finn in the dust?

The last page doesn't necessarily ring true to me. . .but it's left open so I can imagine what I want.

This book was slow at times but the plot was very good. i liked how the author made you stay on edge with the plot every step of the book, To me i couldn't stop reading it because i wanted to see what happened next. Some parts were exciting but other parts were slow otherwise it was a good Story :)

Personally I didn't really like this book. I felt the characters didn't really have any good reasons for doing what they did, also they weren't that likable as well. It felt like a slow story and it didn't really pick up after the first 8 chapters. Maybe someone else will like it, but I felt it was lacking a lot.
I'll give it a 4/10, good effort.

I don't know if it's just me, but I thought this book was good, but not really that great. Though I'm betting that if anyone else read this book, they might disagree
