This was an ok sequel to Iron Man. A little uneven, the villain isn't any good, but at least there's a lot of Tony Stark!

Iron man 2 has some familiarity to it for me. Giving me good me and myself. Especially since the only reason why I got it was because my mom recorded it when the third one came out , and we got cut off from seeing the credit cookie in the end with Thor's hammer in it.

The sequel to Iron Man, Tony Stark returns once again as the genius and owner of Stark Industries. The world is keen on getting their hands on the new technology. Tony’s father, Howard Stark, used to work with a man named Anton Vanko. Anton Vanko’s son, Ivan Vanko, was exiled from the US because of Tony Stark. Ivan attempts to exact revenge on Stark, who is already battling against his declining health due to palladium poisoning. Justin Hammer, a rival weapons contractor, takes Ivan as he sees it as an opportunity to bring himself up and above Stark. The final fight in the movie consists of Stark and his friend fighting against drones in an epic battle of machines.

Not terrible but weakest of the IM series.

Really annoying movie! Even the action sequences were dull and predictable.

The only thing this movie got right is that Malibu is full of obnoxious airheads - full of themselves and destroying their environment.

Boom! That's all folks!

I love iron man.

Perhaps one of the reasons this movie wasn't better received was that we had come to expect so much from Robert Downey Jr.'s manic portrayal of Tony Stark that the first "Iron Man" became too tough an act to follow. I thought that the sequel was nearly as entertaining, with amazing effects and oddball characterizations by veteran showmen like Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell, plus the smouldering appeal of Scarlett Johansson in a supporting role and the upgrade to Don Cheadle as Col. Rhodes. All in all, a good time!

Great superhero movie, especially for being a sequel. Every bit as good as the first. Excellent job by Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. His dialogue is just superbly delivered. Supporting cast is quality. Great effects and action sequences. I was never a huge fan of Iron Man in the comics, but this movie franchise is great.

Senator Stern: My priority is to get the Iron Man weapon turned over to the people of the United States of America.
Tony Stark: Well, you can forget it. I am Iron Man. The suit and I are one. To turn over the Iron Man suit would be to turn over myself, which is tantamount to indentured servitude or prostitution, depending on what state you're in. You can't have it.
Senator Stern: Look, I'm no expert...
Tony Stark: In prostitution? You're a senator. Come on.
