Fair - The Trial (2010) 101 min. The film plays like a half-decent made for television movie with Matthew Modine suffering the loss of his family and having to come out of retirement, calm his own demons, and defend a young man accused of murdering his girlfriend. The film has two main focuses - one is the grieving process Modine's character must go through and the other is the trial itself. At times, I found it difficult to marry the two. All in all, the film does deliver some fine messages about our relationship with God in times of great loss.
