Kris Carr is an inspiration to me. I am following some of her learnings and I feel better. I do not have cancer but want to eat healthy and always strive for the 80/20 rule..we are never perfect. I have recommended her books to many friends.

I ignored this book initially because of it's title. When I searched for "vegan" books the title came up in the list so I gave it a second glance. I've read it from cover to cover and found it informative as well as entertaining. Kris Carr has a great attitude and a true zest for life. She shares her experience and her knowledge and makes recommendations for living a healthier and fuller life. I love her approach and although I cannot make a full commitment to her lifestyle today she has inspired me to move closer to a vegan lifestyle. Well worth reading especially if you are challenged by cancer or another serious health problem. If you're not challenged health wise but want to improve your carbon footprint still worth the read.

Kris Carr celebrates life and veggies (all while taking on Cancer with a kick-ass attitude), striking a (pH) balance along the way! The book is a great read, as Kris is witty and very knowledgeable, and speaks from first hand experience.

Very well researched. I read the book in order to review it, and took notes along the way of all the important things I learned or want to try - and I'm excited to explore them further.

Peppered throughout are guest contributions from experts and each chapter ends with a testimonial from everyday folk (most of whom have turned to Kris's website CrazySexyLife.com for further support and inspiration) about how Carr's Crazy Sexy Diet has changed their lives for the better.

Highly recommended!
