WOW - This is wonderful entertainment amidst the rebuilding of the people and places of New Orleans. The music is clean. The players are a great mix of musicians and actors side by side. David Simon has brought along several of the excellent actors from his "The Wire" and "Homicide" programs. Get your toes ready for a lot of tapping to the music. Well worth a watch.

Everything about this series is excellent. I was a little reluctant when I first read the synopsis but in spite of the dreadful reality there is humour and real joy. The music is great and much of the time watching I find I have a smile on my face.

Fantastic cast & great music fuel this masterpiece with many moments of humour and tenderness. David Simon does it again-must be experienced.
