As a snowstorm traps the party, the survivors realize that the murderer must be one of them. Yet the killings continue, despite locked doors and windows. What is the killer's motivation? Is an old grudge at work? Could the explanation be related to a series of mysterious accidents on the set of a film titled Nine Man Morris, which the classmates had investigated fifteen years earlier?

An ok read, but a little too clever for its own good. I liked the inclusion of the "cast of characters" and a floor map of the location (but I thought the first and second floors didn't match up in the plans and expected that to be part of the solution.) It was hard remembering all the connections from incidents 15 years in the past, and after all was said and done some of it still didn't make much sense. Christie's position in mystery fiction is safe.

If you like Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" (Ten Little Indians) this is the book for you. Former detective school classmates visit an isolated island (trapped by a storm of course) where one by one they are murdered.
