Contains Volumes 9 - 16: This volume is really fun and has some great chapters. I really enjoyed the Valentines Day chapter at the beginning. The pet chapters were also amusing. My favorite chapters in the volume were probably the last two chapters were Sailor V learns more about her past life. I would have enjoyed getting to read more and felt that this was a great prequel series before the Sailor Moon Series.

Sailor V's adventures in this book are written in the same "lighthearted-with-a-slightly-serious-undertone" style as the Sailor Moon cartoons, and therefore fit very neatly into that universe, The stories are fast-paced, light reads.

One quibble is that the book is presented in the classic manga style (i.e., the book is read "backwards"). While I understand this is the traditional style, it can be confusing for Western readers. It can be a rough go at first if you're not used to it.

I loved this manga! It was really fun getting to read about how and when Sailor V first became a Sailor Scout and getting to see how she adapted to her new life as well as seeing her early missions. This volume also gives the reader a chance to really get to know Mina and better understand her character. I am looking forward to reading the next volume.
