I’m sad to see that someone else thought this book “dragged”...I’ll counter that I think that might be an overreaction. It turns out this was originally the first book written in the series and the publisher decided to swap the second book in the series to be the first. Based on some of the characters inner dialogue because they suffer from trauma-it’s true that parts of this book don’t move quite as quickly as the rest of the series but the author also grew quickly after this book, figured out how to convey important inner dialogue even more efficiently and never looked back—Despite the comment I’m referring to, there’s no lack of action and mystery, great characters and dialogue, some incredibly hot romance and you definitely don’t want to miss out on getting to know this mythology and family/community of characters still being built and slowly revealed...
And you definitely want to move into the next, and third, book in this series!

The premise is good, but the book is too long and the story drags on too long.

The description is NOT about 'Changeling Dream' but a different book .
