Mr. Thomas does a very good job with the story of Walt Disney. It is a great read for anyone who desires to know the story behind the genius. Disney certainly should be well respected. He was a man with a dream. It took a lot of hard work and determination. However, he was able to rise above the common standards to perfect the creative medium he loved. I had no idea about the early struggles the man faced. There were a few areas I wish would have been discussed more, but for an objective biography Mr. Thomas does a very good job. If you enjoy the book, a movie was made recently about Walt's early years; it is titled "As Dreamers Do."
