This is a fantastic book about how to show your strengths with a résumé, even if there have been gaps, you're just starting into the workforce, or you've had some other situations such as incarceration, change of career, and others.

Putting the original résumé next to the updated one is quite eye-opening and demonstrates the value of a well-thought-out résumé.

While this isn't necessarily for someone who has had a traditional career path, there are still some really good tidbits of advice for job-seekers or people who want to keep their résumés updated (which everyone should do at least once a year).

Unique side by side comparisons of before and after resumes. Covers all kinds of situations: re-entering the workforce, career changers, freelancer, one-company employee, laid-off worker, long-term unemployed, over-50, etc. 500 sample resumes, with additional samples on included CD. 2012 edition.
