Good for extreme accuracy in large-sized works; not for beginners. Poor printing of two volumes in one. Headings don't appear in the Table of Contents. Hard to find your way around the second volume. Mostly about anatomical accuracy in drawing and sculpture. Hand drawings and B&W photos of figures and heads in the round, and models in relief (coins, etc). Describes unwanted results of inaccurate depictions; if the ears are too high, the head looks elongated. Favourite tools are ruler and calliper.
