The New York Times bestselling Library Lover's mysteries continue with a hot new case...

Loving a good cup of coffee runs in the family for Briar Creek library director Lindsey Norris. But when her brother, Jack, a consultant for a coffee company, goes missing, her favorite beverage becomes a key clue in a dangerous mystery.

Between preparing the library for the holidays and juggling the affections of ex-boyfriend, Captain Mike Sullivan, and her new crush, actor Robbie Vine, Lindsey has her hands full. But the mysterious disappearance of her world-traveling playboy brother takes precedence over all.

Afraid that involving the police could brew trouble for Jack, Lindsey takes matters into her own hands. But as her quest for her brother embroils her in a strange case involving South American business dealings and an enigmatic and exotic woman, it'll take the help of both her library book club--the crafternooners--and her eager-to-please suitors to keep Jack from ending up in hot water...

Not as good as the first 4 in the series but library director Lindsey never disappoints in her passion for Briar Creek. Book six gets back to more down home mysteries to solve.

I've enjoyed the other books in this series, but I found this book a disappointment. I thought the plot was silly and the love triangle with Sully and Robbie is just plain annoying. Of course, that's probably because I find Robbie a shallow character and don't get what the attraction is. I do like the other recurring characters and the library environment so haven't given up on this series yet.

Love that all the cast of characters have been brought back together, even the 'library lemon'. Though many love triangles can get a bit overdone, I enjoyed the rivalry as it played out in this story. The banter and antics of Sully and Robbie add a bit of humor and fun to the story. For the first time, the history behind Sully's lack of communication and commitment comes to light. The angle of the coffee cartel is an interesting one. And I loved how Jack's cryptic message eventually led Lindsey right back to the one thing she knows like the back of her hand -- the library.

Did not enjoy this story at all. I like Sully and Robbie can just go away. Quick read since I skimmed through most of it. Enjoyed the other books in this series but this was a big disappointment.

Lindsey is getting ready for the holidays when her brother, Jack, suddenly appears. Just as quickly, he disappears and Lindsey finds a body in the library room Jack had just vacated. She is worried out of her mind over his disappearance and becomes even more so when she receives a phone call suggesting that he is in deep trouble and been kidnapped! Warned not to involve the police, Lindsey calls upon the two men in her life vying for her affection. Both are more than willing to help, and when the situation turns dicey, they stick close by to keep her safe. However, Lindsey and her 'crafternoon' friends are the true heroes who save Jack and help capture members of a coffee cartel.
