A very elegant and enlightening film with some stunning shots. Most of the narration is rather poor, and there is a brief scene with Burtynsky looking at images and talking about himself, which was the worst part of the film. Among the extras there was only a 'study guide' (which I didn't look at), but lacked, unfortunately, an image gallery. Those who wrote the subtitles do not know the difference between square kilometers and kilometers squared.

Powerful film. Burtynsky’s five-year exploration dedicated to the subject of water is just the tip of the iceberg of the changes happening in the world today. It's not as powerful as the film 'Manufactured Landscapes'; it is a good example of depletion of our life sustaining resource.
