Great book!
Loved that it had some real teenager issues mixed with fantasy. The characters are awesome! I can't wait to read the next book!! :)

A pleasant little book with an engaging heroine. I'm way outside the target audience but it was still worth reading. I figured out the big deal when Mom basically gave it away about half-way through, but it was still worth finishing, and I am going to read the next one in the series. It's definitely better than the "Twilight" series, and I've only read about two pages of "Twilight (although perhaps that is damning "Bite Me" with faint praise - not my intention).

A cool book, a different take on vampires. I liked that the book dealt with both fantasy and reality issues that teenagers face.

Here's the story of a lovely vampire,
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls,
All of them had hair of gold, like their mother,
The younger twins in curls.

Here's the story, of a man named Fraser,
Who was busy with three boys of his own,
They were four men, living all together,
Yet they were all alone.

Yes... you were waiting for it to happen. Twilight meets Brady Bunch (if Marcia and Greg were dating before the wedding). This is a funny addition to the genre with living vampires that bring a new twist on traditional mythology. By the end of the book, several secrets will be revealed that set the story for the second novel Love Sucks coming July 2010.

The back:
AJ Ashe isn't your typical seventeen-year-old vampire-- as if there is such a thing! She's stuck in the middle of a huge fight between her two BFF's. Her ex-boyfriend-- whom she's still totally in love with, by the way-- is now her stepbrother. A former classmate--who, um, she may or may not have turned into a vampire--is stalking her. And now, apparently, the fate of humankind lies in her little undead hands. What ever happened to the good old days when all a vampire girl has to worry about was the occasional zit and hiding her taste for blood?

Wow. Three blond-haired sisters and three dark-haired brothers. Thrown in a house keeper and we'd be the goddamned Brady Bunch.
Of course, I don't think Marcia, Marcia, Marcia ever let Greg feel her up.
And I'm pretty certain they weren't bloodsuckers.
But what do I know?
