His breathtaking performance as the new James Bond won him legions of fans and proved that, as well as being an outstanding actor, he could cut it as an action hero and redefine a cinematic icon to huge critical acclaim. This affectionate book reveals everything about this fascinating leading man—how he endured poverty-stricken years when he was first struggling to make it as an actor in London; how he rejected the "trivial" publicity that came when he started to make a name for himself; his relationships, including his marriage to a British actress with whom he has a daughter; plus his encounters with Sienna Miller and Kate Moss; and how he has handled the adulation that has come from his role as 007.

Well, there can be no doubt about it in my mind, Daniel Craig wins my enthusiastic vote as being the best James Bond, by far.

When it comes to satisfactorily fulfilling his obligation as James Bond (one of the most respected action-heroes of all), I find that Craig's portrayal of this character reduces the performances of all other actors (who have previously played this part) to being nothing more than mere glorified couch-potatoes by comparison. (Sorry, but, if that doesn't go over well with anyone who prefers a more gentlemanly-type Bond, then, hey, that's the way I feel!)

I find Daniel Craig to be a very rugged, masculine and likeable actor who has a really appealing, "no-nonsense" approach to his acting style. And when it comes to playing James Bond, I'll gladly take Craig over Connery, Moore, Dalton or Brosnan any old day of the week.

Anyway - If you would like to know more about Daniel Craig, read this informative biography that was written, in 2007, by Sarah Marshall.

(*Note*) - Be sure to watch the James Bond "Spectre" trailer that I've added as a bonus.
