This is such an interesting cozy mystery series. The language is so lush with visual descriptions that lead the reader to feel what life was truly like during the time period of 1895, San Francisco.
Enjoy reading this tale as much for San Francisco historical flavor as for the mystery and fine writing.
John Quincannon finds himself on a precarious and stormy ferry ride, and Sabina seeks to protect her suffragette friend from imminent assassination. Women in bloomers ride bikes in Golden Gate Park, and high society's dirty secrets leak to the peril of many.
