Millions of us are locked into an unwinnable weight game. Combine the inefficacy of dieting with the lack of spiritual nourishment and we have generations of mad, self-loathing women. Readers will be struck by the author's intelligence, sensitivity, and humour as she traces the path of overeating.

Title is the best thing this book has going for it - disappointed in content.

Says a lot about women and food, not much about God, and nothing we haven't heard before.

I really liked this book! The truth hurts but more importantly helps you grow. You need to be ready to make changes in your life so be in the right frame of mind when you pick it up.

Bizarre self help book about the relationships with food and God? Kind of rude at times. I stupidly trusted Oprah. She usually picks good books. I will stick with her fiction selections from now on.

Found several of her comments offensive, really wish she had not been so judgemental at times. The ideas are sound but this is mostly just a repeat of her past books.
