NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERLizzy and Diesel are back in an all-new wicked adventure from Janet Evanovich and Emmy Award–winning co-author Phoef Sutton. Before he was murdered and mummified nearly a century ago, notorious bootlegger Collier "Peg Leg" Dazzle discovered and re-hid a famous pirate's treasure somewhere along the coast of New England. A vast collection of gold and silver coins and precious gems, the bounty also contains the Stone of Avarice—the very item reluctant treasure seeker Lizzy Tucker and her partner, Diesel, have been enlisted to find. While Lizzy would just like to live a quiet, semi-normal life, Diesel is all about the hunt. And this hunt is going to require a genuine treasure map and a ship worthy of sailing the seven seas . . . or at least getting them from Salem Harbor to Maine. Greed is eternal and insatiable, and Lizzy and Diesel aren't the only ones searching for the lost pirate's chest. People who have dedicated their entire lives to finding it are willing to commit murder or make a deal with the devil just to hold the fortune in their hands. One of those people may even be Wulf, Diesel's deceptively charming and enigmatic cousin. Wulf desires the Stone of Avarice. He also desires Lizzy. It's hard to say how far he's willing to go to gain either one. Wicked Charms is a swashbuckling adventure full of raiders, monkeys, minions, and mayhem. Lizzy and Diesel are going to have to do everything they can to keep their heads above water and hope they're living a charmed life.Praise for Wicked Charms "Delivers what Evanovich's readers have come to expect: laughs, oddball situations, quirky supporting characters, and a dash or two of romance."—Examiner.com

Add a CommentI love this series. Lizzie and Diesel are great together.
A disappointment- Liked Diesel in past. This book is slow w/lots of filler & repatriation! Maybe 21/2 Stars?!
Very ridiculous, super silly but a light quick read. Diesel is growing on me.
If you read any of the Stephanie Plum series, chances are you will hate this. It is a poorer version. Same everything, just different names and instead of catching FTAs, Lizzy & Diesel chase mystical things. Boring.
Feels rushed and choppy. None of characters have any surprise over the evnts happening. The characters were flat and not developed.
Exactly the same scenario, character types, romantic interludes, script, almost word for word as the Stephanie Plum series. I stopped reading those because I was tired of reading the same thing over and over again. Most authors are able to uses fresh material in a series, but not Janet Evanovich. If you have not read her books then you will love this new series, at least for the next 5 books or so. But I finally stopped on page 121. It is really not fun to read when you can predict what the characters will do and even say before it happens.
The word that comes to mind is "fun". This quirky series is very enjoyable, dare I even use the word silly. A quick read with very odd characters.
"Men can be heroic when they're wrinkled and smell bad. women work better with a little lip gloss and clean hair." this was another delicious installment in the Lizzy and Diesel saga. As hard to put down as a chocolate glazed donut & devoured just as quickly.
is this a series???
Love the the cute, funny, quirky adventures of Lizzy and Diesel. Their 3rd book is another quick, entertaining summer read. (Janet Evanovich books are my guilty pleasure.)
