#1 for Michael Bennet

I am enjoying these books in this series, so far they are as good as the Woman's Murder Club series. This novel was fast paced, loaded with humor and twists. My only critique is the ending is a bit far fetched, hard to understand how "it" would be survivable.

I didn't particularly like the villain in this book but I have to give credit to the authors for the Mike Bennett character. The book almost felt at times like a mix of thriller and comedy and when the plot lacked, the comedy is what kept me going

Not one of his best, got through it but wouldn't recommend it as a great read.

I didn't care for this one very much. 5 of 10 for me.

2nd book in the Michal Bennett series. Personally I have taking a shine to this new protoganist of James Patterson.

Mike is a likeable character and so is his family, and like all the Patterson novels the chapters are a quick read which make it a breeze to go through.

Mind you once you really get started and get into the story you don't really want to put the book down. The twist in the story was a confirmation for me (but I read a lot of mysteries so...) however without giving anything away - the scene after the plane crash... that was ... just.... well done.

Intriguing new character (Michael Bennett)...the usual breakneck Patterson pace, don't plan on doing anything else once you've started reading this one. Fortunately, It's a quick read!

Good book-- yes, there was certainly predictablility but the narrators were excellent for the parts and it made it worth listening to anyway. - One of the two voices was reminiscent of John Malcovich.

I recommend it-- I do have to say, though: I'm guessing that Patterson wrote the last two lines.
