Another winner from director Richard Linklater, this is a moving film about loss that draws parallels between the Iraq War and the Vietnam War. The three leads all deliver strong performances, especially Bryan Cranston.

why does Hollywood think that most sentences of dialog need a cuss word to make it a complete sentence? is this the way most people talk? and why use God's and Jesus' name? what does that prove? how does it help tell the story? couldn't get past the f-bombs and misuse of God's name to see if there was an actual story.

Written by same author as The Last Detail. Not quite a sequel, but similar. Enjoyable mostly mellow older buddy movie of sorts.

This was pretty boring throughout and I never quite got into it. I think that was because none of the characters showed much empathy or charisma... you just don't find yourself caring about any of them. It wasn't a terrible film, but it wasn't they great either. Rent if you have nothing better to do.

A lot of good actors but really slow to get started- after 1/2 hour, I gave up on it

Three Vietnam vets re-connect with all their baggage to bury a soldier that died in Afghanistan.
Crude language but I liked how they displayed their discuss for our government while displaying their love for our country.

Recommended! Very good acting (Cranston steals the show & has the best lines). One of those movies that has humor, pathos, good characters, good writing & a worthy message message. A buddy film that reveals bit by bit.
