I enjoyed this Spike Lee joint! It said it was based off a true story but I don't know anything about that. As a film it was done well all around, great acting, writing, set, it felt like that time. Consider this one it's better than your average movies!

I have mixed feelings on this movie. While the performances of the leads were excellent, most of the Klansmen were portrayed as cartoonishly evil. They didn't even seem like real people to me. The Adam Driver character had to pretend to be racist, but it felt like everyone else was pretending as well. It didn't feel real. In fact, there was one character who was so utterly idiotic, I was surprised he didn't shoot himself in the head or blow himself up. And only one racist cop in the whole department, in 1973, really?

A very good movie bad on true events.

It may disturb you because it is true. More disturbing is that in the year 2020 still true millions of Americans still believe that racist crap like the Proud Boys, twist on KKK that our American President Trump supports. Odd since his grandchildren & son in law are of the Jewish religion.
Still no change in 2020 in America. White supremacy still just more hidden.

A classic trickster tale with a Spike Lee twist and social and political commentary. John David Washington and Adam Driver own this film. The best part is the protagonist, Ron Stallworth, is a real person and really did infiltrate the KKK. This is my favorite Spike Lee film and deserved so many more Academy Awards than it got. Truly a masterpiece.

I have mixed feelings about this movie . The acting is excellent. The only complaint I had was that I was hoping for more depth into the COOINTELPRO project. Instead I got some candy version of it . The movie focuses more in racism aspect and considering movies like washed up Green Book this one handles it more in the heavy side. I am pretty “ Meh” about it .

I've now finally watched "Malcolm X" and now this brilliant Spike Lee film. This movie is made more disturbing by the 2016, 2017 and 2020 protests... how much Black Lives Matter and the destructive sad ways of the KKK. The final few moments will shake you and hopefully bring people to vote this November 2020.

I found this movie scary, realistic, funny, satirical, and seriously thought provoking. I would easily recommend it to friends. I hope to read the book someday.

Fantastic and superb movie! Based on a true story, it was enlightening to see how the group works & how a black police officer was able to infiltrate it in the '70s. The actors/actresses did a great job with the characters that they played. There are so many layers in this movie. Evokes a lot of thought and emotions! Highly recommend checking out this film!

At the end, they showed clips of racial protests & fighting from the Charlottesville car terror attack in 2017 and how Trump addressed it. Scary how things have not changed much or have gone backwards.

couldn't really watch past the first 20 minutes- relying too heavily on stereotypes, funny one but stereotypes just the same

Ron Stallworth: Hello, this is Ron Stallworth calling. Who am I speaking with?

David Duke: This is David Duke.

Ron Stallworth: The Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, *that* David Duke?

David Duke: The last time I checked. What can I do you for?

Ron Stallworth: Well, since you asked, I hate n***ers, I hate Jews. Spics and micks. Italians and chinks. But my mouth to God's ears, I really hate those black rats, and anyone else really that doesn't have pure white Aryan blood running through their veins!

David Duke: I'm happy to be talking to a true white American.

Ron Stallworth: God bless white America.
