Best-seller Tony Hillerman's daughter continues his Chee/Leaphorn/Manualito series in this rich, suspenseful tale. Her take, mostly through Bernie's eyes, isn't the same as her father's, which I think is fine. Police work has changed since her father began his writings. I never pay too much attention to whodunit, anyway, unless I can figure it out in the first chapter, and I didn't, so that didn't bother me. I'm interested in how the characters figure it out.
