As he is settling into his new home - a small hole in a large tree, little Lewis Mouse begins to hear some strange noises. What could be making those scratching, scratching and tapping noises outside his door? When there is no answer to his loud shout of “Who goes there?” Lewis imagines the scary possibilities: a hungry horned owl, a sharp-clawed cat, or even a huge bear. Instead, he finds a little mouse named Joy, who thinks that the tree is hers. After the confusion is cleared up, Lewis and Joy become good friends in this cozy, comforting picture book (dedicated to writer C.S. Lewis and his wife, Joy) by favourite children’s author Karma Wilson.
