The much awaited sequel to Lee’s first novel, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, the Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy was everything I could have ever wished for and so much more! The small glimpses into the the lives of Monty and Percy were much appreciated, however Felicity’s story captivated me all by itself. It was the perfect blend of historic fact and wonderful fiction, holding my attention for hours on end. The commentary on women’s rights in the past was so culturally relevant to today, yet nothing felt forced. I fell in love with each new character that was introduced and I hope there is a sequel so I don’t have to say goodbye to everyone. This book was perfect in every way and I would recommend it to everyone! 5/5! @nickreads of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
